Windows 7, Windows 8.1 to Stop Receiving Security Updates, Support From January 10

Microsoft will stop offering security updates and technical support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 from January 10. The declaration comes on the heels of the release of Microsoft Edge 109, the final edition to support the out-of-date operating systems. PCs running Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 will be more vulnerable to bugs, malware, and other online security threats.
